Quick and Simple Tips for Treating Burnout

  1. Wash with water: run cold water on hands, wrists, elbows, even upper arms if possible. Release tension into water with intent of a fresh start. If you can, spend the time to brush your teeth, wash your face, and even your feet.

  2. Change the scenery: go outside for a walk, or even to breath fresh air for a few minutes.

  3. Enlightened Powernap: a 15 minute practice lying down that facilitates weaving in and out of sleep - the effect is an integration of current thoughts/emotions/feelings and a reboot of the system for a fresh start.
